Subversive has been a part of Droid since its inception. Fans who have witnessed his sets over the years will know him for his deep track selection and engaging mixing style, influenced by the late ’90s sounds and techniques of Detroit, Berlin, and Birmingham. These past years he’s released under his name, Roque Hernandez, on S2’s Historia y Violencia label, and most recently with Voiski as Deception Plan on Construct Re-Form, an alliance made during his years in Paris.
For the monumental D-Node 200 we are sharing Subversive’s set from Interface 41 in Los Angeles, where he built an undeniable foundation for headliner Ben Klock.
