Scion and Droid up the ante with stars of Detroit’s first and second waves. One of techno’s three originators, “The Elevator” Kevin Saunderson was the first to bring the music to the masses, particularly with his Inner City and Reese Project releases. Kevin’s Inner City albums, which included massive singles “Big Fun” and “Good Life,” accumulated 12 Top 40 hits in the UK and two Top 20 albums, with combined sales reaching over 6 million making dance music history. Kenny Larkin is one of techno’s most gifted producers and DJs, a Droid favorite from the Detroit roster.
