Go Hiyama entered the techno world in the mid-’90s, influenced by the exemplary sounds of YMO, Kraftwerk, Jeff Mills, Fumiya Tanaka, Warp, Subvoice, and others. He’s since become a consistent presence on the Japanese techno scene, with a long list of uncompromising tracks on labels like Perc Trax, Token, Planet Rhythm, Coda, and his own Blank Records. His mix for D-Node projects the hard techno aesthetic.
