This week we stray away from the center to share a live recording of Midwestern techno legend Paul Birken, recorded a few months ago at the IN:VOLVE event in Los Angeles. This set does not go down smoothly! It's an hour 39 of raw, acidic techno with some adventurous transitions and mixing effects.
Since the mid-'90s, Birken has run with the vanguard of underground American techno, and this performance showcases his uncompromising approach to his sound.
