The first installment of Prototype, 001 brings one of Germany’s leading techno figures, Chris Liebing, to the intimate and raw surroundings of the Lot 613 warehouse. Known for heading up the highly influential CLR recordings and hosting the near cult followed CLR podcast, he has been one of the driving and pioneering forces of techno for over the past twenty years. A veteran of the world’s leading clubs and events, he is a regular at Berlin’s infamous Berghain, Enter and Cocoon at Space and Amnesia Ibiza respectively, European techno extravaganza Timewarp and NYC’s Output to name a few.

Joining Chris is NYC native and CLR recording artist, Black Asteroid. Black Asteroid, AKA Bryan Black former engineer for Prince and one-half of the critically acclaimed Motor. He’ll be performing with special guest Cold Cave (Matador Records), Wes Eisold’s popular cold wave/synthpop group, for an exclusive and rare one-off live PA. Eisold, Black and Chris Liebing recently released Black Moon on CLR.

Joining these techno heavyweights is Droid’s own Dean Paul.
